1Service Agreement & Website Use
When you book a painting service with Sunshine Home Painting Service, you are entering into a service agreement with us. By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
This Terms of Service Agreement governs your use of the website www.sunshinehomepaintingservice.com. The changed or revised Agreement will be effective immediately after it is posted on this Website. Your continued use following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
- We agree to complete the painting work as described in your quotation.
- You agree to provide access to the property, water supply, electricity & separate area/ room to store materials and make payments on time as outlined.
- The quotation you receive after site inspection becomes the basis of this agreement.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to book our services.
We operate across Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, and parts of North and South 24 Paraganas. Services outside these areas may not be available or may incur additional travel charges. This Agreement does not alter in any way the terms of any other written agreement you may have with Sunshine Home Painting Service.
2Scope of Work & Measurements
Every project begins with a clear scope documented in your quotation:
- The quotation covers all specified materials and services. Any additional work or modifications beyond the agreed scope will require a revised estimate and prior approval, with applicable charges.
- The Net Total mentioned in the quotation is inclusive of Masking, Labor, Material, and Post Cleaning. If anything is not included, it will be mentioned in the quotation terms.
- Measurements stated in the quotation are considered final and approved by the client. Any changes requested after work commencement may incur extra charges.
- For fresh painting or repainting, if there are undulations on the walls, we correct a maximum of 1mm per coat of putty. We cannot guarantee to remove the complete undulation in some cases because of construction defects.
3Booking & Payment Schedule
Here is how the payment process works:
- Free Inspection: We do not charge any amount for site inspection.
- Minimum order value: ₹10,000. We do not accept projects below this amount.
- No advance or token money is required before we start the work.
- Payment methods: UPI, bank transfer, cash, or cheque. In case of cheque, please pay 2 days in advance.
- Please mention the Quotation Number (stated in the top-left of the Quote/Payment Reciept) while making online payment to us. Share payment reference details via the WhatsApp on 7278172759.
- Please ensure to make timely payments as per the work progress and payment terms & condition mentioned in your quote. Delayed payments will lead to stoppage of the work.
We will always share a clear payment schedule before work begins. No surprises.
4Pricing, Estimates & Quotation Validity
- All estimates are based on a physical site visit and measurement of your property.
- Prices include labour, materials (unless specified), and basic surface preparation.
- If additional work is needed (like wall repair, putty, or waterproofing), we will inform you and share revised pricing before starting.
- Paint prices may vary depending on the brand and product you choose.
- We do not charge more than the quoted value.
- We reserve the right to modify prices for future bookings without prior notice. However, a confirmed quote will not change without your consent.
- Our quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Prices for our products/services are subject to change without notice (not for confirmed site/ currenltly running sites). We shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
We believe in transparent pricing. The quote we share is the price you pay — no hidden charges, ever.
5Work Timeline & Scheduling
Timely project delivery is important to us:
- The total project duration mentioned in the quotation refers to working days (Monday to Saturday). Work may be paused on Sundays and certain occasions or festivals.
- Delays due to unforeseen circumstances — including client-side issues or issues from our end — will proportionally extend the timeline.
- We are not responsible for delays resulting from client-side issues or payment defaults.
6Products, Paint, Materials & Finishing
- Only genuine/branded materials, as specified in the quotation, will be used. We use paint from authorised dealers — Asian Paints, Berger, Dulux, and Nerolac.
- You are welcome to choose your preferred brand and product. We will provide options at different price points.
- We cannot guarantee exact colour matching between different batches of paint. We will always show you a colour card or sample before finalising.
- Our team will not be responsible for performance issues caused by factors like construction defects (undulation more than 2-3mm in walls/ceilings), water seepage, damp, algae, and fungal growth.
- We are not responsible for any painting defects caused due to current or future seepage or dampness on the walls, unless we are also executing the waterproofing solution as part of the project.
- Pipes, casings, wires or trays running along or too close to the wall being painted may have spillages on those surfaces.
- Any visible defects or concerns must be reported to the assigned Site In-charge before project handover or maximum within 24 hours. After 24 hours, we may not be able to address the issue since we do not offer any warranty. It will be addresed by paying additional minimal charges.
7Cleaning & Site Maintenance
- Proper masking and post-completion cleaning are included in the quoted price.
- Daily cleanup of the work area throughout the project.
- Final deep cleaning after the project is complete.
- The site will be handed over in a clean condition.
8Your Responsibilities
To help us do our best work, we kindly ask that:
- You provide clear access to all rooms and walls that need painting.
- Furniture and delicate items are moved away from the painting area (or we can help cover them).
- You or someone you trust is available at the property during the work for any decisions or approvals.
- Pets are kept safe and away from the work area during painting.
- Any existing wall issues like dampness or cracks are communicated to us beforehand.
- You provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking.
- Client should provide water, electricity & a separate area/room to store materials.
- Clearly outline high-tension wires and any other known dangerous or risky areas, and instruct our supervisors accordingly for safety of painters and labours.
- Remove or clear any plants, trees, heavy or fixed items from the area to be painted to make it accessible for the painter.
- Please keep your costly belongings safely away from painting area. We do not have safety provisions for personal belongings. It's solely your responsibility to keep your costly belonging safe.
- For any manual job, there may be some collateral damage. To minimise this, please keep our supervisor appraised of any special attention needed before or during the project.
- If you have any special Terms and Conditions which need to be adhered by our teams, please let us know beforehand.
- Customer must actively engage for approvals, final quality checks, etc.
9Our Responsibilities & Safety
Here is what you can always expect from us:
- Professional, trained, and verified painters who respect your home.
- Use of branded, genuine paints as agreed in the quotation.
- Proper masking and covering of floors, furniture, and fittings during work.
- Daily cleanup of the work area throughout the project.
- Final deep cleaning after the project is complete.
- Polite, safe, and respectful behaviour from our entire team at all times.
- We take care of all safety measures and accessories for labours working on site.
- All areas which are not easily accessible shall be painted on best attempt basis. Quality of non-easily accessible areas may be compromised.
10Communication & Site Tracking
- For any queries or clarifications, please contact the assigned Site In-charge.
- Regular progress updates will be shared as per the client's request.
- One official WhatsApp group shall be created to update regularly on the progress and assistance needed for coordination. Customer has to actively engage for approvals and final quality checks.
- A tracking link will be provided to track your site progress in real-time. This link will expire 2 days after the project is completed.
- For complaints or escalation: Please WhatsApp the details on 7278172759. We will resolve the issue within the same day.
11Work Suspension
Work may be paused under the following circumstances:
- If payments are delayed or not made as per the agreed payment schedule.
- If site access is restricted or the client is unable to provide the necessary conditions for work to continue.
- The company is not responsible for delays resulting from client-side issues or payment defaults.
- Delayed payments will necessarily lead to stoppage of the work until payments are cleared.
12Cancellation & Rescheduling
Life happens, and we understand that. Here are our guidelines:
- Free cancellation: You can cancel at no cost if you do so at least 1 day before the scheduled start date.
- Late cancellation: Cancellations within same day may result in a cancellation charges(5%) to cover scheduling costs.
- Rescheduling: You can reschedule your booking once at no extra charge.
- If work has already started and you wish to cancel, payment for the completed portion is required, calculated based on the percentage of work completed, amount invested, and materials used.
13Refund Policy
We want every customer to feel confident when booking with us. Here is our refund policy in simple terms:
- Cancellation after work has started: Payment for the completed portion of work is non-refundable. Any remaining advance for unstarted work area will be refunded after deducting the cost calculated based on the percentage of work completed, amount invested, and materials used.
- Scope reduction after acceptance: If you reduce the scope of the agreed work, a revised quote will be shared. No extra charge.
- If we cancel: In the rare event we cancel your booking due to our unavailability, a full refund will be processed within 1 working days.
- Refund processing time: 1 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation, to the same payment source (UPI/bank account/original method).

14Warranty Policy
We provide our services at a very reasonable price and do not include warranty cost in the quoted amount by default. However, we will work until you are 100% satisfied with the finish before project handover.
- All visible defects or concerns must be reported to the assigned Site In-charge before project handover or within 24 hours.
- We also do not offer warranty on products (paints/material), we can provide material bills please claim directly from the product manufacturers if they agreed.
Optional Paid Warranty (6 Months) - Not Included by Default
If you wish to purchase warranty on our services/workmanship, you must let us know before confirming your order. The warranty terms and conditions will be added to your quotation.
- Cost: 30% of total project value (additional).
- Once the 30% warranty amount is credited to our account, we will issue a valid 6-month warranty card.
- Only customers with a valid warranty card can claim warranty.
Warranty Covers:
- Mismatch in the colour
- Colour fade
- Air bubbles found on the walls
- Paint peel off issues (valid on dry walls only — not valid on damp or water seepage walls)
Warranty Does NOT Cover:
- Physical damages or marks
- Dampness
- Seepage issues
- Previously done or badly constructed walls
- Low quality of previously done painting work
- Cracks & hairline issues — please contact builders/constructors for rectification
15Post Service Support & Complaints
Your satisfaction does not end when the project is complete:
- For any post-service issues, contact the assigned Site In-charge or WhatsApp us at +91 72781 72759.
- For complaints or escalation, please WhatsApp the details on 7278172759. We aim to resolve the issue within 7 days with minimal charges.
- Customers with a valid warranty card can claim warranty, we will send a team to inspect and fix the issue promptly. Other customer who did not brought this warranty card may not be eligible for warranty services.

16Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. Here is how we handle your information:
- What we collect: Name, phone number, email, and property address — only what is needed to provide our service.
- How we use it: To contact you about your inquiry, schedule site visits, share service updates, and send you quotes via WhatsApp or phone.
- We do not sell your data. Your information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell information entered in our website.
- Security: We use standard security practices to protect your personal data.
- Cookies: Our website uses basic cookies for functionality and analytics to understand which pages are most useful.
- Data removal: If you want your personal data removed from our records, email us at sunshinehomepaints@gmail.com and we will act on it promptly.
If you choose to visit the website, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Policy and the website's terms of use. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
17Customer Solicitation & Opt Out
We respect your communication preferences:
- Unless you notify us of your desire to opt out from further direct company communications, you are agreeing to continue to receive further emails and call solicitations from Sunshine Home Painting Service and its designated team(s).
- Opt Out Procedure: You may choose to opt out by sending your email address to support@sunshinehomepaintingservice.com, or by sending a written remove request to Sunshine Home Painting Service.
- Any change or update in our terms and conditions or privacy policy will be available on this page.
18General Conditions
By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these conditions:
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
- You agree not to reproduce, copy, resell, or exploit any part of our website content, designs, or service processes without our express written permission.
- The content on our website is provided for general information only. While we try to keep it accurate and up to date, we are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current.

21Acceptance of Terms

22Termination
We take fair conduct seriously — both from our side and yours.
- These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us.
- You may cancel your service at any time by notifying us, subject to our Refund and Cancellation Policy outlined above.
- We may refuse or terminate your service at any time without prior notice if we determine — in our sole judgement — that you have violated any of these Terms, provided false information, behaved in an unsafe or disrespectful manner towards our team, or misused our services in any way.
- In the event of termination, any outstanding amounts due for work already completed remain payable.
- The liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.
- We reserve the right to deny access to our website to any person who misuses it.
23Limitation of Liability
- We take every precaution to protect your property, but accidental minor marks on non-painted surfaces may occasionally occur. We will address them immediately.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing wall defects, hidden water damage, or structural problems that become visible after painting.
- We are not liable for any indirect losses, loss of income, or consequential damages arising from our services.
- Our total liability in any case is strictly limited to the amount you have paid for the specific service in question.
- We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current.
- We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
24Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent authority, that specific provision will be considered severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions will continue to be fully valid and enforceable. The invalidity of one clause does not affect the rest of the agreement.
25Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with your accepted quotation and any other guidelines we share at the time of booking, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sunshine Home Painting Service.
- These Terms supersede all prior discussions, promises, or agreements — whether verbal or written.
- Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Any ambiguity in interpretation shall be resolved fairly and in good faith by both parties.
26Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication or mediation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
If you choose to visit the website, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Policy and the website's terms of use. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
27Dispute Resolution
We hope it never comes to this, but if there is a disagreement:

28Force Majeure
Sunshine Home Painting Service shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters — floods, cyclones, earthquakes, or severe storms.
- Government orders, lockdowns, or restrictions affecting movement or work.
- Power outages, internet disruptions, or infrastructure failures.
- Labour strikes, illness outbreaks, or pandemics.
- Any other event that a reasonable person would consider truly unforeseeable or unavoidable.
In such events, we will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule your work at the earliest available opportunity at no additional cost.
29Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing structure, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
